**SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION**
The Homer Wilson Scholarship Program for Steelworkers Children provides two $1,000 scholarships each year. Any son, daughter, step-son, step-daughter or legal ward of a member in good standing of a Local Union in District 9, graduating high school between January 1 and July 31, 2010 is eligible for this year's awards.
Applicants are required to submit a 500 word essay titled "A History of the Labor Movement and Its Influence on Present Society." Complete rules and applications are available from Johnny Phillips or Edwin Smith. Applications must be received by the Scholarship Committee at USW District 9 by March 15, 2010.
